5th of October, leaving.

 So today is the day or trip starts in earnest. We finish the packing and drop the dogs to the animal refuge at around 10.30 am. I cry like a mum leaving her kids behind. I know they will be looked after well, ( i have to believe that ) and spoilt.  We then head back to home put the suitcases in the car and leave heading for the Coolangatta airport  🛫.  We are taking to Saab 9000, as the 95 has a split heater house.  We get away about 11 am, and have a good trip down.  Traffic was pretty good,  and we got to the airport and checked into the hotel around 6pm, and taking our luggage or of the car,  Bob then checked the car into its parking spot for the duration while we are away.   We go down to the resturant and have the smorgasbord of food that is there, and then retire for the evening.

The Day before 4th October

 Today is a bit quieter than previous days. Most things are done,  suitcases are 90% packed, and medications have been checked and obtained.  We will take our dogs to the animal refuge for their holiday while we are gone. We were going to get a pet sitter to come and feed them every day,  but given that the fence is not dog proof at the moment,  and it is coming into storm season,  and with Flosses fear of storms,  we thought it safer for them to be in an securely confined area. We have the tradies from Bradshaws arrive to install security cameras 📷  on the house.    All is going to plan so far.
